Easter Egg Hunts

EASTER EGG HUNT:  Ages 2-10
Be sure to bring a basket and a camera to the Easter Egg Hunt!  The hunt will be divided into 3 age groups;  2-4 years, 5-7 years and 8-10 years.  The 2-4 year old field will be nearest to the Tot playground, the 5-7 year old field will be will be to the east of the Shelter House and the 8-10 year old field will be down the maintenance road toward the Park District building 

The youngest age group will begin promptly at 5:00pm, and LCPD staff will then start the older groups one at a time.  Please don’t allow your child to begin until instructed to do so!  Some special eggs that have a smiley face drawn on them will contain prize slips that can be redeemed at the Shelter House at our prize table.  The Bunny will also be at the park for visits and photos.  The Egg Hunt will happen rain or shine, so dress for the weather.

FLASHLIGHT EASTER EGG HUNT:  Ages 11-13
This is an Egg Hunt with a twist…each attendee is required to bring their own headlamp or flashlight because we’re having this event in the dark!  Kids should also bring a bag or basket and dress for the weather because the event will happen rain or shine. Some special eggs that have a smiley face drawn on them will contain prize slips that can be redeemed at the Shelter House.  Parents, we ask that you stay during the Egg Hunt as it will only take a few minutes.
